The streets and sights of Compostela tell the history of the Camino.Pilgrims already form part of the landscape of our city.

In this workshop, we will visit the exhibition of Jesús Madriñán, analysing the multiple identities of his portraits. We are going to observe them with curiosity to imagine who they are, where they come from, what their reasons may have been for taking the trip, what they are carrying in their rucksacks, etc.

We will go in search of ‘stolen’ portraits, approaching the concept of ‘urban sketchers,’ a worldwide phenomenon that proposes showing the world, one drawing at a time.

In contrast to quick selfies, we will take a minute to self-portrait and ask how we see ourselves, how others see us, if there is any object that represents us, what music speaks of us, what part of our bodies we most identify with, what our most characteristic gestures are or what the traits of our character are.
