For another year, the CGAC is partnering up with the University of Vigo in organising the IX International Performance Art Conference, Fugas e interferencias, the only international academic conference dedicated to this discipline in Spain.

This conference, organised yearly since 2016 by the University of Vigo research group, PE4 Imagen y Contextos, focuses on analysing the new behaviours of action art from both a practical and theoretical perspective and, over the course of its eight previous editions, has led to the publication of more than a hundred studies by researchers from a dozen countries.

After the opening session, which will take place on 31 October in the vice-chancellor's office at the Pontevedra campus, the event will move to the GCAC on 1 and 2 of November.
