AN INTRODUCTION TO CONTEMPORARY ART. Face-to-Face and Online Educational Sessions for Secondary, Sixth Form and Vocational Education Students

02 October 2023 - 28 June 2024

This programme aims to connect schools with art and to encourage young people’s engagement with the artistic practices of their time.

Through both in-person and online sessions, participants will be introduced to contemporary art through a presentation exploring the different spaces, exhibition displays and landmark exhibitions at CGAC. Drawing on works from the CGAC Collection, the sessions will explore the diverse approaches, media, perspectives and ideas that shape contemporary artistic practice.
