VISITS WITHOUT APPOINTMENT

All year round.

WEEKEND GUIDED TOURS

Guided tours of the architecture and history of the CGAC.

On the first Saturday of each month we organize a visit around the architecture and history of the CGAC. During these visits, we will talk about the design of Álvaro Siza Vieira and his close formal and conceptual relationship with Bonaval Park and the city that hosts it. We will walk from the outer portico to the roof of the building where the work Triangular Pavilion by the artist Dan Graham is permanently installed. You do not need to make an appointment to take part in this activity. Visits will depart from the CGAC reception at 12:00 pm and will last approximately 50 minutes. The group will be formed in order of arrival.

Guided tours of the exhibitions on Sundays

Every Sunday (except for those where, due to assembly requirements, there are no exhibitions), the public will be able to approach the CGAC to enjoy the exhibition samples accompanied by mediators specializing in art. This service aims to stimulate interest in contemporary artistic creation and facilitate communication between the viewer and works of art.

You do not need to make an appointment to take part in this activity. Visits will depart from the CGAC reception at 12:00 p.m. Visits will last approximately 50 minutes.

ACCESS TO THE TERRACE

Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m.

The public will be able to request access to the terrace at the CGAC reception, where the permanent installation of the artist Dan Graham, Triangular Pavilion, 1997, is located. Access to the space will be carried out under the supervision of the centre's staff.
