O menor: procesos a-significantes na arte contemporánea was the winning work in the fourth edition of the CGAC Prize for Research and Essay on Contemporary Art. Drawing on a series of examples from the visual arts, music, literature, and philosophy, the text explores the value of the minor, of minimal intervention, and even of non-intervention in contemporary art.
Matías García Rodríguez is a lecturer in the Department of Art History at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and the author of the doctoral thesis Caosmosis y subjetividad: lana estética de Félix Guattari (1930–1992).
