Life, school and art are in colour. It’s a key resource for reading and creating images; it’s part of the curriculum in all school stages and is a common axis that allows us to learn from different areas. Nonetheless, how little we know about colour and how little we’ve experimented with it never ceases to amaze.
This course will enable us to explore its different dimensions hands-on, using artistic expression as a starting point to learn about cultural, social, scientific, linguistic, mathematical and visual aspects in a cross-cutting way. Teachers will be able to observe, reflect and experiment using different mediums (books, creative materials, artistic references, educational videos, images, everyday objects, etc.), living the experience and making it a stepping stone for programming initiatives aimed at their pupils.
