A new edition of Contemporary Music Sessions will be held from October to November. This activity revolves around a series of concerts where the transversality of music and its relationship with other art forms gains prominence. The program consists of eighteen recitals including ten world premieres performed by the most consolidated contemporary music groups.
These Sessions are organised by the City Council's Department for Cultural Action, in collaboration with the USC and the CGAC, and are staged in different parts of the city in areas where music can be encountered and disseminated, such as the University's Church and Assembly Hall, the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea, or the Auditorium of Galicia. These different venues create a cultural fabric for the promotion the most up-to-date musical events.
