This project was created with the aim of providing, through contemporary art, a space for learning, creativity, and motivation for children and young people undergoing hospitalisation.

Hospital classrooms are educational services that allow children and young people to continue their schooling while admitted to hospital, offering both pedagogical and emotional support.

In this edition, and in collaboration with the CHUS hospital education service, the CGAC will bring the museum’s content into the hospital, transforming part of its art education classroom into a welcoming and dynamic space, full of tools to generate new experiences around art and life.

Creativity becomes a meaningful, stimulating, and purposeful experience. We will work with an inclusive and respectful approach, offering flexible and open activities designed to suit different ages, abilities, and interests.

The workshops will engage all the senses: we will activate the body, experiment with sound, light, memories, and everyday objects, and implement activities that encourage exploration, play, reflection, observation, communication, emotional wellbeing, and active participation. A wide variety of materials, techniques, and strategies will be used, allowing each participant to discover and express themselves at their own pace, improvising without fear, and connecting with contemporary artistic languages.
