EN DORADO. WORKSHOPS FOR FAMILIES FOCUSING ON THE WORK OF HASSAN DARSI

Led by: Sara Donoso

Saturday 20 May. Families with children aged 4 to 6.

Sunday 21 May. Families with children aged 7 to 9.

Time: 11.00 a.m. -1.00 p.m.

Free, with prior registration | Registration deadline: 9-18 May

Activity aimed at families with children age 4 to 9 who want to discover the extensive universe of contemporary art or deepen their understanding of it.

Moroccan artist Hassan Darsi believes that art can help change the world and develop a country's culture. His work is influenced by his life and his environment, and he often proposes new forms of construction to make streets and buildings places for people's wellbeing. In addition, he often collaborates with people from different backgrounds to create works that transform everyday objects by recycling them and giving them a second life through art. The colour gold is one of his favourites: he uses it in his sculptures, paintings and installations. Do you want to know why? Join us in this workshop where we will create golden landscapes and design our ideal spaces.

SPACES: 10 minors, each accompanied by a maximum of 2 family members in each workshop.

REGISTRATION: Any families interested can register by emailing cgac.educacion@xunta.gal with the following information: the names and ages of the people who wish to participate in the workshop, a telephone number and a contact email address.

Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Each applicant will receive email confirmation.
