GUIDED TOURS BY APPOINTMENT

GUIDED TOURS OF THE EXHIBITIONS 

From September to June.

The CGAC offers free guided tours of its temporary exhibits Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This service aims to stimulate interest in contemporary artistic creation and facilitate communication between the viewer and works of art.

In the case of school groups in the infant and primary education cycles, the staff of the Department of Activities and Education also designs specific didactic workshops to complement the visit to the art exhibitions.

Approximate duration of visits:

  • Early childhood education cycle. Visit-workshop: 60 minutes
  • Primary education cycle. Visit-workshop: 60 minutes
  • Cycle of secondary education, baccalaureate and adults: 50 minutes

REQUEST:

Any group that wishes can request a guided tour by writing an email to onlinecgac@gmail.com The e-mail must contain the following information: the name of the center or person making the request, the number of people in the group, their age and level of training, the day and time they wish to visit, a phone number and an email address.

ONLINE TEACHING VISITS AN APPROACH TO CONTEMPORARY ART: THE CGAC AND ITS COLLECTION

From September to June.

During the sessions we will make a presentation with images of the different spaces, montages and historical exhibitions of the CGAC exemplifying through the multiple supports, looks and speeches of the works of the CGAC Collection the diverse ways of doing of the current art.

The aim of this service is to bring art to schools and stimulate the interest of new generations in the artistic creation of their time.

  • RECIPIENTS: ESO and Baccalaureate courses
  • APPROXIMATE DURATION: 60 minutes
  • TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The school must have the necessary technical equipment to participate in an online meeting (classroom equipped with a computer with camera and microphone, speakers and screen).

REQUEST:

The activity is free and to participate you must send an email to onlinecgac@gmail.com with the following information: name of the school, course or age of participants, day and time they wish to perform the session , a telephone number and an e-mail address and the name of the person responsible.

Once the application has been accepted, the centers will receive the necessary instructions to access the online session.

ONLINE TEACHING SESSIONS. DISCOVERING CONTEMPORARY ART

In these didactic sessions we will make a presentation with images of different works of contemporary art stopping in the diversity of supports, subjects, speeches, glances and expressive and experimental possibilities of the current art. We will combine the sample of images with creative dynamics aimed at students.

The aim of this activity is to bring art to schools and stimulate the interest of new generations in the artistic creation of their time.

  • APPROXIMATE DURATION: 50 minutes
  • TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The school must have the necessary technical equipment to participate in an online meeting (classroom equipped with a computer with camera and microphone, speakers and screen).
