Jorge Macchi. Anatomía da melancolía is the catalog of the exhibition of the same title held at the CGAC from May to July 2008.
Jorge Macchi has arrived at the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea at a magnificent time in his artistic career, which spans over twenty years. A career which will be represented by this retrospective exhibition which goes beyond the CAC's exhibition rooms to the neighbouring Bonaval Church. The Anatomy of Melancholy is constructed using very delicate pieces which build up a map with the signs that are left on people, places or things throughout life.
